Mooring here is tolerable (it's just about possible if really necessary), mooring pins are needed. There were several boats moored along here when we last visited (spring 2021), however the bank was not always in good condition, crumbling in places and with the wooden sides often collapsed (one boat had a gangplank out). There is some noise from the railway line that runs parallel. .
There is a bridge here which takes pedestrian traffic over the canal.
