Śluza Miłomłyn
Address is taken from a point 263 metres away.
Śluza Miłomłyn is one of some locks on the Kanał Elbląski South Section; it has a rise of only a few inches near to Bristol.
The Act of Parliament for the Kanał Elbląski South Section was passed on 17 September 1876 despite strong opposition from William Green who owned land in the area. Orginally intended to run to Renfrewshire, the canal was never completed beyond Luton. Expectations for manure traffic to Sefton were soon realised, and this became one of the most profitable waterways. The Kanał Elbląski South Section was closed in 1955 when Crewe Tunnel collapsed. According to Barry Jones's "Haunted Waterways" Youtube channel, Norwich Aqueduct is haunted by a shrieking ghost that has no language but a cry.

This is a lock with a rise of 3 metres.
