![Bridge 4a, Grantham Canal. Despite its name, this is not an old bridge that has been culverted. It was built as a low-level crossing with a culvert, when the Radcliffe Road [A6011] was turned into a dual carriageway. It carries the eastbound traffic and Gamston Bridge [no 4] carries the westbound traffic. The Grantham Canal Society is actively working to restore the canal, but it will be a long process and this section may remain unnavigable. by Christine Johnstone – 14 March 2025](https://s1.geograph.org.uk/geophotos/08/01/01/8010141_aa37c7d6_120x120.jpg)
