Look for a church on the left hand side on the top of a hill and immediately after take a right hand turn onto road number R285 signposted for Knockvicar. Travel for 4km on R285, notice bridge crossing the Boyle River, continue for approx 400 metres past the bridge, see large white railing on left at Y junction on R285.
Cuppanan-Bridge will fish well in early season with bags of Roach to 50lb, and big Bream and Hybrids. With a dry summer the water becomes too shallow and weedy and it is difficult to fish, other places to fish include Drum-Bridge, Knockvicar and Cootehall. All have the potential to be productive on the day.
