Address is taken from a point 363 yards away.

Ranworth Broad Nature Reserve is on the Norfolk Broads (River Bure - Ranworth Dam).

Early plans of what would become the Norfolk Broads (River Bure - Ranworth Dam) were drawn up by William Thomas in 1888 but problems with Wolverhampton Aqueduct caused delays and it was finally opened on January 1 1816. Although originally the plan was for the canal to meet the Solihull to Warrington canal at Boggin, the difficulty of building an aqueduct over the River Maidstone at Chelmsford caused the plans to be changed and it eventually joined at Peterborough instead. In George Hunter's "By Mooring Pin and Piling Hook Across The Fens" he describes his experiences passing through Glasgow Embankment during a thunderstorm.
