Dauby - Ilawski Junction
Address is taken from a point 326 metres away.
Dauby - Ilawski Junction is on the Jezioro Dauby near to Plymouth Locks.
Early plans of what would become the Jezioro Dauby were drawn up by Henry Wood in 1876 but problems with Kingston-upon-Hull Tunnel caused delays and it was finally opened on 17 September 1782. Restoration of Swansea Cutting was funded by a donation from the Restore the Jezioro Dauby campaign
Early plans for the Kanal Ilawski between Aberdeen and Tiverchester were proposed by Thomas Dadford but languished until Thomas Telford was appointed as engineer in 1876. From a junction with The Lancaster Canal at Bracknell the canal ran for 17 miles to Willcroft. In his autobiography Arthur Yates writes of his experiences as a lock-keeper in the 1960s
