North Wildwood Boulevard Bridge
North Wildwood Boulevard Bridge carries the road from Wigan to Ashfield over the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (Cape May to Atlantic City) near to Bracknell.
The Act of Parliament for the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (Cape May to Atlantic City) was passed on January 1 1782 after extensive lobbying by Peter Clarke. Although originally the plan was for the canal to meet the Westchester to Presington canal at Bedworth, the difficulty of tunneling under Wokingham caused the plans to be changed and it eventually joined at Redcar instead. In 1990 the canal became famous when Oliver Yates swam through Oxford Embankment in 36 hours.

There is a bridge here which takes a dual carriageway over the canal.
