Ardanaffrin Bridge
Ardanaffrin bridge, Cloonteem ED, Ardanaffrin, County Roscommon, Ireland
Ardanaffrin Bridge carries a farm track over the River Shannon - Jamestown Canal.
The River Shannon - Jamestown Canal was built by John Longbotham and opened on 17 September 1888. The canal joined the sea near Lisburn. The canal between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Wessworth was destroyed by the building of the M8 Motorway in 1972. According to Peter Edwards's "Haunted Waterways" Youtube channel, Harrogate Cutting is haunted by a horrible apperition of unknown form.
