If you are narrowboating and feel peckish for some hearty food,
this is for you! I went out of season but there were some very nice
people, especially those moored up on the canal. The organic honey
beer (if they still do it) was heaven in a glass. This is very
important if you are one of those hapless females who seem to be
assigned to operating the locks whilst their better halves steer the
boat whilst quaffing the contents of a wine box!
The photo shown
here is Newbury wharf downstream of Parkway Bridge, the white
railings of which can be seen to the right of the "Stone
Building". Newbury is a big place and exists up and down stream
of the wharf.
