[State Highway 1 (New Zealand)] the end of their lifespan, NZTA replaced the fords with culverts. Construction of motorways and expressways has diverted the route of State Highway 1 [Itchen Navigation] between 1891 and 1966, before being diverted through a culvert under junction 11 of the M3 motorway. Originally this was the site of a bridge which carried [Monkland Canal] but its culverted remains still supply water to the Forth and Clyde Canal. Much of the route now lies beneath the course of the M8 motorway, but two [Dommel] and then reaches the Bocholt–Herentals Canal. It passes this canal by culverts and sluices. The stretch of the Dommel from the canal near Neerpelt till [Bradford] not recognised as such. The beck's course through the city centre is culverted and has been since the mid 19th century. On the 1852 Ordnance Survey map[2] [Canal du Midi] water level. He built 49 culverts and aqueducts, including the Cesse aqueduct, the Orbiel aqueduct and the Pechlaurier culvert. Finally, he reinforced [Folkestone] Cliff on the other side of the stream. The Pent Stream now runs through a culvert from the fire station, at the junction of Radnor Park Road, Park Farm and [Severn Valley Railway] on Good Friday, 21 March 2008. The work increased to 144 the number of culverts under the line, where previously there were 44 before the 2007 floods.
