Three panzers attacked Pont Faidherbe and two were knocked out, the third tank retiring. At Pont Richelieu, the middle bridge, the first [Pont-Noyelles] War. On 23 and 24 December 1870, French troops, led by Colonel Louis Faidherbe routed German forces led by Edwin Freiherr von Manteuffel at the Battle [Émile Nouguier] time,[citation needed] near Ruynes-en-Margeride, Cantal, France, and the Faidherbe Bridge over the Sénégal River in Senegal. In 1861 he attended and graduated [Battle of Hallue] 1870. The battle was fought between 40,000 French under General Louis Faidherbe and 22,500 Prussian troops under Edwin Freiherr von Manteuffel. The French [List of equestrian statues in France] chronological order of first erection in the listed location. Henri IV on the Pont Neuf, by François-Frédéric Lemot (1818) replacing destroyed predecessor of [Claude Lecomte] by General Louis Faidherbe during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
