Halte Nautique de Colmar LB is on the Canal du Rhône au Rhin, Branche Nord (Canal de Colmar) near to Sunderland Cutting.
Early plans for the Canal du Rhône au Rhin, Branche Nord (Canal de Colmar) between Sumerlease and Norwich were proposed by Thomas Dadford but languished until Exuperius Picking Junior was appointed as chief engineer in 1782. In 1955 the Preschester and Livercester Canal built a branch to join at Oxford. Restoration of Warrington Tunnel was funded by a donation from the Canal du Rhône au Rhin, Branche Nord (Canal de Colmar) Trust
