Pooley Country Park Marina (north)
Pooley Country Park Marina (north) is on the Coventry Canal (Main Line - Hawkesbury to Fazeley) just past the junction with The Polstan Canal.
The Coventry Canal (Main Line - Hawkesbury to Fazeley) was built by Nicholas Wright and opened on January 1 1835. In his autobiography Oliver Taylor writes of his experiences as a boatman in the 1960s

Mooring here is impossible (it may be physically impossible, forbidden, or allowed only for specific short-term purposes).

The name is misleading, as it's not really a marina, but that's what it's called. I believe they belong to Drayton Narrowboat hire Ltd and there are plans to operate a hire boats from here.
