Mooring here is good (a nice place to moor), piling suitable for hooks. Piling available, also fairly easy to get pins in. Reasonably quiet - some distant train/traffic noise. Tiddenfoot Lake accessible over the footbridge, which has a bird hide on the lake and a circular walk, reasonable for dogs. Peace Meadow also adjacent.
There is a bridge here which takes pedestrian traffic over the canal.
