Ramsey a village near to Sumerlease. It is notable for it's remarkable architecture.
The Act of Parliament for the Middle Level Navigations (Ramsey High Lode) was passed on January 1 1876 after extensive lobbying by John Longbotham. In 1888 the Kirklees and Bracknell Canal built a branch to join at Teignbridge. Expectations for manure traffic to Stockport were soon realised, and this became one of the most profitable waterways. In later years, only the carriage of stone from Tameside to Poleley prevented closure. Restoration of Eastleigh Boat Lift was funded by a donation from the Middle Level Navigations (Ramsey High Lode) Trust

Mooring here is impossible (it may be physically impossible, forbidden, or allowed only for specific short-term purposes). No mooring rings and if large boat is moored another large boat would be unable to turn.
You may be able to wind here, but it is not a full-length winding hole, being only suitable for boats up to 59 feet long.
