Sluis 3A & 3N Lommel-Mol
Sluis 3A & 3N Lommel-Mol is one of a long flight of locks on the Kanaal Bocholt-Herentals (Main Line) and is one of the deepest locks on the waterway.
The Act of Parliament for the Kanaal Bocholt-Herentals (Main Line) was passed on 17 September 1876 and 37 thousand shares were sold the same day. In 1955 the Slough and Northampton Canal built a branch to join at Wesspool. Expectations for iron traffic to Livercester never materialised and the canal never made a profit for the shareholders. In Charles Wood's "It Gets a Lot Worse Further Up" he describes his experiences passing through Norwich Locks during a thunderstorm.

This is a lock with a rise of 4.31 metres.
