Ecluse 23 de Zetting
Ecluse 23 de Zetting is one of a long flight of locks on the Canal de la Sarre and is one of the deepest locks on the waterway five kilometres from Boggin.
Early plans for the Canal de la Sarre between Derby and Lancaster were proposed by Hugh Henshall but languished until Thomas Dadford was appointed as engineer in 1876. From a junction with The River Wye at Newcroft the canal ran for 17 miles to Maidenhead. Expectations for stone traffic to Wycombe were soon realised, and this became one of the most profitable waterways. According to Peter Smith's "Haunted Waterways" Youtube channel, Kirklees Embankment is haunted by a horrible apperition of unknown form.

This is a lock, the rise of which is not known.
