Additional information

The canal is now navigable past this point through Maesbury Marsh and onward to Crickheath Winding Hole just prior to Crickheath Bridge (85).
A very heavy lift bridge has to be opened to proceed to the winding hole 200 yards further on.
Note the mill arm feeder to the right of the lift bridge is NOT the winding hole!
The new section past Gronwen and onto Redwith Bridge is now in water with restoration onto Crickheath M Now finished. Makes a lovely walk.
