[River Great Ouse] River Great Ouse (/ˈuːz/) is a river in England, the longest of several British rivers called "Ouse". From Syresham in Northamptonshire, the Great Ouse flows [River Nar] sluice very close to the junction with the Great Ouse has been built more recently. In 1799, William Jessop designed [River Nene] where it makes a junction with the Middle Level Navigations at Stanground Sluice, which give access to the Bedfordshire River Ouse.
