[Oatlands, Tasmania] Oatlands is an important historical village on the shores of Lake Dulverton in the centre of Tasmania, Australia. Oatlands is located 84 km north of Hobart [Oatlands, Glasgow] public park to the north (across the River Clyde). Oatlands is connected to the Green via Polmadie Bridge which was dismantled in 2015 due to structural safety [Weybridge] forerunner of Oatlands Palace (at which time the heart of the grounds became the Oatlands Park Hotel), the post town adopted Oatlands as its only village [Walton-on-Thames] parish of Hersham in the 19th century. On a smaller scale, the majority of Oatlands village, to the south-west, formed part of the town.
