[River Don Navigation] Sheffield; the Corporation of Doncaster obtained an Act in the following year for improvements to the lower river. Bad blood between Chesterfield and Mansfield has links to the miners' strike. Fixtures between Town and County [South Yorkshire Railway] make a straightened line from Doncaster to Thorne.
