It joins the river at a sluice [List of places in Norfolk] Wicklewood, Wiggenhall St Germans, Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen, Wighton, Wilby, Wimbotsham, Winfarthing, Winterton-on-Sea, Withergate, Witton Bridge, Witton [Stowbridge] Stowbridge or Stow Bridge is a village in the parish of Stow Bardolph, extending into Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen, in the English county of Norfolk. The [Robert Howard (knight)] an English nobleman, the eldest son of John Howard (c.1366-1437), of Wiggenhall and East Winch, Norfolk, by the latter's second wife, Alice Tendring. [River Nar] mouth has been altered. Below Setchey, it formerly flowed further west to Wiggenhall, where it turned to the north and was joined by the waters of the Gaywood [Forty Foot Drain] and thence via the Middle Level Main Drain and the pumping station at Wiggenhall St Germans to the sea. The Sixteen Foot Drain connects to the Forty Foot [Middle Level Navigations] waterways and collect tolls from commercial traffic. A new main drain to Wiggenhall St Germans was completed in 1848, which provided better drainage because [Magdalen Gate railway station] the line between Middle Drove and Watlington. It served the parish of Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen, and closed in 1866. Nothing remains of the station. [St Germain's railway station] on the line between Kings Lynn and Watlington. It served the parish of Wiggenhall St. Germans, and closed in 1850.
