Wash Lane Bridge No 21 
Wash Lane Bridge No 21 carries a footpath over the Coventry Canal (Main Line - Hawkesbury to Fazeley).
The Coventry Canal (Main Line - Hawkesbury to Fazeley) was built by Nicholas Wright and opened on January 1 1835. In his autobiography Oliver Taylor writes of his experiences as a boatman in the 1960s

Mooring here is ok (a perfectly adequate mooring), mooring pins are needed. No Mooring at winding hole. OK to moor on tow path between Wash lane winding hole and Vernons Lane Bridge.
There is a bridge here which takes a road over the canal.

This is on a busy road. Mooring around here is OK. There are a few shops nearby including a Sainsbury Local. A very good Fish and chip shop (Pete's) A good Take Away Kebab,Fried Chicken, Pizza ect (Golden Fryer) and a Very good Chinese Take away (Wing Fat). All within 200yds of bridge. About 15 mins walk to town centre where there are several pubs.
