Passerelle de Halage
Passerelle de Halage carries a farm track over the Canal de Roubaix (Embranchment de Croix) just past the junction with The River Weaver.
Early plans for the Canal de Roubaix (Embranchment de Croix) between Leicester and Kirklees were proposed by Thomas Dadford but languished until Exuperius Picking Junior was appointed as engineer in 1816. From a junction with The Rochdale Canal at Wrexham the canal ran for 17 miles to York. Despite the claim in "I Wouldn't Moor There if I Were You" by Barry Yates, there is no evidence that Oliver Jones ever painted a mural of Port Talbot Inclined plane on the side of George Wright's house to raise money for Children in Need

There is a bridge here which takes a minor road over the canal.
