You can get a list of the pipe bridges using the [Bulk edit of places] function under [Major Edit]. Add %pipe% in the box and the list will appear.
There are 402 on the database.

Hi Andy

The whole of the Canalplan data is downloadable as GEOJSON

https://canalplan.org.uk/mapping/geodata/full/ukuk/canalplan_places.geojson

That doesn't include photos or post codes.   we could write some custom queries to pull the just the name, lat, long and post codes from the underlying data but it would take some time.

Also we don't own the photos - most of them are on a sharealike licence but some are still fully copyrighted by their original uploaders

Might be worth raising it as a bug

All the route and itinerary distances are in the right format (miles, as per my preferences) on screen but the CSV file shows distances in Metres. This is the first time I have exported a route as a CSV file so not noticed the issue before.

Hi Stephen / Nicholas

Great to have found your website. As an introduction, I chair a UK Working Group to support Utility Companies with the identification, inspection and protection of exposed pipes crossing roads railways and waterways, following a fatality on an unprotected asset in 2014. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-35048851

From the Quick Search I note that it is possible to filter the data on 'pipe bridges'. Would it be possible to extract these assets together with coordinates and or postcode and photo, so that I can make this information available to the water and gas companies in the respective areas to help ensure that no unprotected assets are missed ?

Thanks in anticipation
Andy
