Navigational Notes

The Bratch consists of three narrow locks separated by pounds of less that 6 feet in length and so boats cannot pass in the flight.

When draining or filling the locks the paddle to the side pond should be used.

There are C&RT staff on site to help you work through the locks and you should approach them before starting passage.
