It connects the center of Eindhoven with the Zuid-Willemsvaart. There are some water-related industries [Máxima Canal] from the Zuid-Willemsvaart near Den Dungen to the Meuse near Gewande. The Máxima Canal is also known as the reroute of the Zuid-Willemsvaart or Omlegging [Eindhoven] constructed.
