The Canal de Sète is a commercial waterway and is part of the Waterways of Mainland Europe.
It runs for 3.51 kilometres from Thau - Rhône à Sète Jonction (where it joins the Étang de Thau and the Canal du Rhône à Sète (Main Line)) to Sète (where it joins the Mediterranean Sea).
The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 120 metres long and 8 metres wide. The maximum headroom is 1.52 metres. The maximum draught is 0.55 metres.
