Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Diglis Basin to King's Norton Junction)
The Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Diglis Basin to King's Norton Junction) is a narrow canal and is part of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.
It runs for 24 miles and 2¾ furlongs through 56 locks from Diglis Basin (where it joins the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Diglis Junction to Diglis Basin) and the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Diglis Basin Marina Arm)) to King's Norton Junction (where it joins the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Birmingham to King's Norton) and the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Northern Section)).
The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 71 feet and 4 inches long and 7 feet and 2 inches wide. The maximum headroom is 8 feet and 2 inches. The maximum draught is 3 feet and 7 inches.
It has a junction with the Droitwich Canals (Droitwich Junction Canal) at Hanbury Junction.
