Lee and Stort Navigation (River Lee)

The Lee and Stort Navigation (River Lee) is a small river and is part of the Lee and Stort Navigation.
It runs for 13 miles and 6½ furlongs through 11 locks from Waltham Town Lock No 11 (where it joins the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Lee: commercial section)) to Hertford Town Mill Bridge (which is a dead end).
The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 88 feet long and 15 feet and 9 inches wide. The maximum headroom is 7 feet and 8 inches. The maximum draught is 5 feet and 11 inches.
It has a junction with the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort - Main Line) at Rye House Junction.
