Otter's Bridge looking NW

Royston Manor (now hidden by trees) lies about 100 metres from the canal on the opposite bank just through the bridge. The older part of the village is most easily accessed from this bridge along St. Peters Lane, but there is no suitable mooring here, nearest moorings are at the R&W Boat Club. In the 1980s the manor house was used as a restaurant / hotel with gardens right down to the canal, but it is now in private ownership.
