Underneath Gravelly Hill Interchange - the junction of the A38 and M6 - popularly known as spaghetti junction, is an equally important canal junction. Salford Junction is where the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal is joined by the Birmingham and Warwick Canal (now part of the Grand Union) and, a few yards further on, by the Tame Valley Canal.
