Newly and tastefully refurbished, the pub offers excellent food, beers and accommodation. NOTE:The nearest access is bridge 14 but the road is very busy, narrow, with no footpath. The safest access is via bridge 11. It is longer but much safer especially if you have kids or dogs.

The pub is not canalside but on Cross Lane, next to the church in the middle of Church Minshull village. There is footpath only access, footpath and road access or the shortest which is all by road access.
