The first boats to use the East caisson since restoration

The opening ceremonies were done using the West caisson - and then there was a problem requiring a replacement part, which was likely to be a few days to acquire. The boats which had gone down were therefore brought back up again in the still-working East caisson: but the lift was still classed as a building project, so BW steered and no passengers were allowed. All previous testing of the East caisson had been done with a load of water only - so these boats were the first to use its new hydraulic mechanism.
