Thanks to pressure from the CCT, the EA and BW agreed to dredge the first few yards of the Thames & Severn Canal where it joins the Thames, and with the Roundhouse now stripped of greenery, the scene is very different to previous years. Immediately behind the boat is the T&S with the little bridge, immediately beyond which is Inglesham Lock (somewhat overgrown).
The Thames goes off to the left, and the R. Coln is out of shot, just to the right.
