That's the first one dealt with.

Strange thing about these locks on this stretch. The concrete plinths (or whatever they are called) do not match the lengths of the lock arm. Either you open the gates with difficulty as you are closer to the winding gear for the paddles, or you fall off the edge ..... weird!!
