We wait to enter the last of the 35 locks that have raised us up from the River Loire.

A brief stop and exploration of the summit level and then we intend to continue our onward journey down the 47 locks to Clamecy. We will "wind" there and repeat the whole operation in the opposite direction, back to Decize.
