We head towards Europe's first navigable canal tunnel. It is short, taking 2-3 minutes to pass through.

Picture taken from the west as we head east. The headroom height is 8 metres and I would estimate the tunnel maximum depth to be about 25 metres - ground above level to ground below water level.
