Viewed ahead as we temporarily head north before we return to our general easterly route

The overflow water enters the l'Argent-Double river which has flowed under the canal by the aqueduct we will shortly cross. All a bit confusing but even my Fluviacarte map has contrived to completely misplace this place on the map.
