At Bosley Lock 12 you are greeted by vine covered remains of an old railway bridge

An exceptionally beautiful spot greets you as you leave Bosley Lock 12 headed north.  Departing the lock you cross under the old courseway of the Churnet Valley Railway.  Making a tight left turn you immediately enter lock 11.
