Workers at Rest

FMC-livery pair of Bascote and butty Gosport make a welcome attraction to our Sunday afternoon stroll down to Abingdon Lock. Here they are moored below the lock with the weir in the background. Note that only two radials are open on the weir, highlighting the lack of water in the South. They are promising a hosepipe ban later in the year.
