Ashby Canal - Sutton Cheney Wharf from Bridge 34

Sutton Cheney Wharf is on the Ashby Canal to the north of bridge 34.

The wharf faces a broad winding hole and is the home of the Ashby Trip Boat Company.

Nearby is a recently-built cafeteria/Information office which also serves as the booking office for the trip company and which apparently is run under franchise from British Waterways.

About 100 yds away to the right are visitor moorings a water point and refuse disposal. The building also houses toilets.

From the Wharf there is a popular walking route through Ambion Woods to the Bosworth Battlefield Visitor Centre.
