four counties ring route

Hello i am new here, i am going to hire a boat for a 3 week hoilday, I live in New Zealand and never been to the uk. I am trying to work out the route for the hoilday. i have been recommended the four counties ring, can anybody give me details on the route to work out day length etc

Go to Plan a Journey
Select Cruising Ring
Select Four Counties - there are clockwise and anti clockwise
Select a starting place ( assuming you know which hire boat company you are using)
Then set your start and end dates and other timing parameters

Three weeks will give you plenty of time to explore other bits like the Caldon - which has a great preserved steam railway and even down towards Chester

At the moment though there are major closures on the network - T&M North is closed as well as the Caldon
