how do I add this to plans?

Looking to do the Llangollen from Hurleston Junction onwards, possibly going down part of the Montgomery before heading to Llangollen itself.

It may be just me, but I cant seem to find the Montgomery on the drop-down menus to add as a destination when planning?

Hopefully i'm just missing something obvious :)

It's part of the Shropshire Union Canal

Ahhhhh, I just assumed it would have its own section, like the Llangollen does (which also appears under Shroppie section).

thanks ;)

The Llangollen shouldn't appear on it's own, and Steve or Nick might like to see why.

Yes it should!  For exactly this reason.  The Montgomery - like the Llangollen and the Caldon - as a branch which is very often known by its own name it should have an alias.  I'll just have to remember how they are mapped in the database (unlike place aliases, which are frequent, these are rare and can only be created by direct db commands).

[update: I've remembered and done it - you should now have the Montgomery as a canal in its own right].

If you are lost finding somewhere in future the \"explorer\" thing - the magnifying glass search icon - is very useful: so for this you could enter somewhere nearby on the Llangollen say, make your way to Frankton Junction and then look round the waterways and find the Montgomery and hence the place you are looking for.  I'm currently working on making a lot more use of it.

Sorry Nick; I hadn't realised you had created the [Llangollen] as a separate entry in the waterway list, I was working from the database list.
