I'm trying to plot a route from Shardlow  to Tardebigge 24 may to 31 may.
The program is routing me via the Staffs Worcester not the shortest route, I've checked crt and can't see any stoppages affecting my route!
Am I missing something?

I get

This is a trip of 68 miles, 5¼ furlongs and 83 locks from Shardlow to Tardebigge Bottom Lock No 29.

This will take 39 hours and 3 minutes which is 9 hours and 45 minutes for each of 4 days.

From Shardlow travel west on the Trent and Mersey Canal (Main Line - Derwent Mouth to Burton) for 15 miles, 3¼ furlongs and 5 locks to Horninglow Basin, then travel southwest on the Trent and Mersey Canal (Main Line - Burton to Fradley) for 10 miles, 2½ furlongs and 11 locks to Fradley Junction, then travel southeast on the Coventry Canal (Detached Portion) for 5 miles, 4 furlongs to Whittington Brook, then travel southeast on the Birmingham Canal Navigations (Birmingham and Fazeley Canal - along route of Coventry Canal) for 5 miles, 4 furlongs to Fazeley Junction, then travel southwest on the Birmingham Canal Navigations (Birmingham and Fazeley Canal - Main Line) for 15 miles and 38 locks to Farmer's Bridge Junction, then travel southwest on the Birmingham Canal Navigations (Newhall Branch) for 2 furlongs to Deep Cuttings Junction, then travel southeast on the Birmingham Canal Navigations (Main Line) for 2½ furlongs to Worcester Bar, then travel south on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Birmingham to King's Norton) for 5 miles, 4 furlongs to King's Norton Junction, then travel southwest on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (Diglis Basin to King's Norton Junction) for 10 miles, 7½ furlongs and 29 locks to Tardebigge Bottom Lock No 29.

There does seem to be a bug that if you plan with no dates it finds a closure and if you then set dates it still reports it even though its out of the route window
